Welcome to the studio! Start with a relaxing moment in our café and confirm the day's schedule together.

Hair Styling & Kimono Dressing
Our professional staff will carefully style your hair and dress you in the kimono. Let us know your preferences beforehand.

Location Shoot
We head out to Toji Temple and the surrounding historic streets. Beautiful Kyoto scenery as your backdrop.

Studio Shoot
Back in the studio for intimate portrait shots. The original blackboard from the building's days as a tailoring school is a popular backdrop.

Change & Farewell
After shooting, change back into your clothes. We'll explain how and when your photos will be delivered before you head off.

With over 30 years in commercial and children's photography, our owner-photographer has the experience and patience to capture the real personality of every subject.
The studio is housed in a converted tailoring school building, with the original blackboard still intact. Portraits taken in front of it are uniquely atmospheric and consistently popular.
As a parent himself, he knows exactly how to put kids at ease and draw out natural, joyful expressions.
